South Texas Surveying
Associates, Inc. has been supplying surveying services
throughout the State of Texas since 1980. “South
Texas Surveying” offers all phases of land surveying,
including but not limited to title surveys, ALTA/ACSM survey,
Category 1A Condition II surveys, commercial survey , residential
survey, all phases of construction surveys, topographic surveys,
platting services and elevation certificates.
Over the last 28 years we have collected an enormous amount
of survey information and recorded plats for the greater
Houston and surrounding areas, which expedites our work.
All research, fieldwork, and drafting is completed in house
by our staff. We have Harris, Fort Bend, Montgomery, and
Galveston County plats in our office, which ensures that
we can give our clients, prompt service. We have established
contacts in the surrounding counties for access to other
recorded plats and documents. South Texas Surveying has extensive
experience in supplying survey services for small and large
acreage tracts, apartment complexes, shopping centers, hospitals,
office buildings, and industrial sites.
We have all of the National Flood Insurance Rate Maps on
file for use and reference for the above-mentioned counties
and can easily determine if a property is in a flood zone
area. We can provide elevation certificates for the properties
that are within the 100-year flood zone per the Federal Emergency
Management Agency (FEMA).
We have a building department whose staff is dedicated to
serving only new homebuilders. This division supplies plot
plans, lot fits, tree surveys, boundary and topographic surveys,
house stake-outs, form, slab and final surveys, elevation
certificates and other site specific survey needs for builders.
We have a platting
department whose staff handles “turn
key” platting services to clients for various cities
and surrounding county of metropolitan Houston.
We use Auto Cad for drafting, as well as Microsoft Office
for metes and bounds verbiage.
We carry complete
insurance, including general liability, automobile, excess
liability, workman’s compensation
and error and omissions.
